Audits and inspections
A check against the arrangements you say you have.

Where it is used
On the site, or across the system
What it does
- A site inspection: scaffold, plant, welfare, permits, housekeeping.
- A system audit: does the job have the records it says it has.
- Findings become actions with owners. An audit is not a score.
- Written for an insurer, a client, or an HSE visit.
On the record
- A finding is an action before we leave the site.
- The photo and the note sit on the record the morning meeting already uses.
- You can show the check, not a score with nothing behind it.
The duty
Management Regulations 1999
Monitoring and review of the arrangements. HSWA 1974 sits behind it.
